A word for you and your
loved ones...
There is help for alcohol problems
through; Churches, Alcoholics Anonymous Meetings and more.
You are not alone. No matter how desperate your
circumstances may seem at this very moment there is hope.
You don't have to go through this battle alone. Some call Him a 'higher power'
- we call Him Jesus Christ and He can set you free!
We've included a
Salvation Prayer for you.
It was hopeless. Everything I had worked for,
everything I had ~ including my family was all but gone. I didn't
understand how I had ever sunk so low in such a short period of
time.
Then it struck me. Alcohol was ruining our
lives (my own, my wife's and consequently our children) and I fell to
me knees and prayed asking for forgiveness saying, 'Forgive me
Lord... Oh my God. Look
what I have become.' And the answer I heard from a loving
Father waiting for me to realize the grip the enemy had on my family
was, 'I know.'
You see ~ the response wasn't a condemning
scream and a critical glare... It was the calm voice of my Father in
Heaven saying, "I've known all along the struggles you have had and
I have been hurting with you - just waiting for you realize the true
nature of your
problems and for you to accept me into your heart and return to me. Welcome home."
Let me assure you again - You are not alone! There is help and
there is hope. Stop trying to do it on your own and throw away the
pride and ask for help.
~ A recovering alcoholic
Matthew 19:26 (NIV)
26Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is
impossible, but with God all things are possible."
